Fabulous Freedom Song

I've  been learning how to retell a story by stepping it out, and how to make a WeVideo.

My video is about a hunter who comes across a bird one day the hunter decides not to kill it but when he goes away it starts singing the most annoying song so he kills it. The hunter puts the bird in a sack it makes the same annoying song. So when he gets back to his house he plucks the feathers out of it but it still sang the same song. So the hunter cuts it up into one hundred pieces and puts it in a pot. But the bird stars making the same song again. So the hunter went outside and dug a hole and chucked the bird in it. When the hunter stared walking away the ground stared shaking  it went "Na-Na-Na-Na" the hunter dug up the hole and puts all the pieces of bird in a box and throws it out to the Hokitika river. Later on the day fisherman catch the box and open it  out fly one hundred little birds. On that same day the hunter was in the woods he came across the same tree and and in it there was one hundred little birds. So they lived in peace.

My class and I learn't how to step out stories was by making a story-map and saying only a little bit of words and one action. After we learnt it enough to remember it.

My Self Portrait

Self Portrait

Amber 2018, Cybersmart, Art

Description:
The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait.
We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page.
Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in.
This was tricky because when you tried to make your face a circle it wouldn’t work
Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent.
We did this so we can learn how to do self portrait a different way.
We used the magnifying tool to zoom in on all of the hard places.
I’m happy with the way my hair looks on my self portrait because I think it looks a bit like my real hair.
I will have to work on my nose because it is not the best thing in the world.
Thank you for reading my blog post. Have you ever tried to draw your own self portrait? If not, I hope you will have a go and share your effort with me.

Add a link to your blog in the comments please.

Finger Knit

At school I just learnt how to finger knit non stop. I was awesome. We were making decorations for the town Christmas tree. My amazing teacher Mrs Anderson learned how to finger knit as well.
